The End Times as a Song

Chapter 432 Misunderstanding

Chapter 432 Misunderstanding

"Sister Huanhuan, it's alright, it's alright. The fact that you woke up means your poison has been neutralized, so you should be fine. It's just that I really can't understand why you look so dazed...?" Hua Nian looked into Huan Rugo's eyes and noticed that her gaze was somewhat confused and bewildered, so she couldn't help but ask.

Hua Nian knew that Huan Ruge had just gone through a life-or-death ordeal and must be very tired and vulnerable. Therefore, she spoke very softly, afraid that she might accidentally hurt Huan Ruge's self-esteem or arouse her resentment.

Huan Rugo's body trembled slightly upon hearing Hua Nian's question, but she didn't answer immediately. She seemed to be trying to recall what had happened before, attempting to find a reasonable explanation. After a while, she slowly raised her head, looking directly into Hua Nian's eyes, her tone tinged with doubt: "I've been poisoned...?"

Hua Nian nodded and quickly said, "Yes! When I came in just now, I saw Master sucking out the poison for you...?" As she spoke, she pointed to Huan Rugo's wrist, indicating that she should look at her injury.

Following Hua Nian's directions, Huan Rugo saw two deep teeth marks on her wrist, surrounded by some black bloodstains. She frowned, trying to recall the scene, and a feeling of guilt welled up in her heart.

"Could it be that I misunderstood Lin Yin...? Was he helping me detoxify...?" Huan Ruge murmured to herself, a trace of self-blame and regret flashing in her eyes.

She recalled her previous suspicions and misunderstandings about Lin Yin and felt incredibly foolish. Lin Yin had always been sincere towards her, yet she had hurt him because of a moment of impulsiveness and suspicion. Looking back now, she realized how terrible she had been.

"What did you misunderstand about Master...?" Hua Nian asked curiously, eager to know what was causing Huan Rugo so much pain and self-blame. She tilted her head, her bright eyes sparkling with curiosity, seemingly very interested in the question.

Hua Nian playfully retorted to Huan Ruge, "Is it because Master likes sweets that you think he's not manly enough? Or is it because he always wears white clothes and looks like a pure angel that you think he's not individualistic enough? Or is it because he's always smiling and seems carefree that you think he's not genuine enough? Haha, I'm just guessing!"

"Nothing...? Nothing at all...?" Huan Rugo's voice trembled slightly. She seemed unwilling to discuss this topic, but didn't know how to avoid it.

"Oh? Really?" Hua Nian blinked mischievously, a sly smile playing on her lips. "But judging from your expression, it doesn't seem like that's the case. Did Master do something to upset you? Tell me quickly, maybe I can give you some advice!"

"So what happened between you two...?" Hua Nian looked at Huan Rugo with a gossipy eye and continued to ask. Her eyes revealed a kind of concern and worry, as if she really cared about what had happened between them.

Huan Rugo's face turned pale. She bit her lip, tears welling up in her eyes. She lowered her head, sighed softly, and then slowly said, "It's my fault, it's all my fault..." Her voice was filled with pain and self-blame, making one feel pity for her.
