Chapter 501: Another World
Chapter 501: Another World
A piece of glass shard splashed over, slicing Xu Xiangbei’s neck. Xu Xiangbei’s body jerked downward in pain, causing Seven-girl to let out a moan filled with desire and confusion.
Despite her usual flirtatious looks and open demeanor, always winking and performing pole dances, she had never let any boy touch her most secret places.
Yet today, even through clothing, she could feel Xu Xiangbei’s strong body and his intense, captivating masculine aura, making her heart race wildly like a deer caught in headlights, her face turning red all the way down to her neck.
Looking at Seven-girl, breathlessly alluring beneath him, her petite lips alluringly red, he couldn’t resist kissing her.
Suddenly kissed by Xu Xiangbei, feeling his warm and full lips, Seven-girl’s eyes widened with a mix of enjoyment and struggle.
Her star-like eyes shone with flames of love, her fingers pinching Xu Xiangbei’s back hard, trying to struggle out from under him.
But she was afraid of struggling too hard, worried it would cause Xu Xiangbei to get shot, so she dared not struggle and instead found herself clinging tightly to Xu Xiangbei’s body.
Outside the table, amidst the barrage of gunfire, debris flew, murderous intent abounded, but within the three-foot-square table, it was another world of warmth and romance.
The two kissed passionately, forgetting life and death, forgetting time, knowing only the constant waves of tenderness like a tempestuous storm.
No one knew how long it lasted, when a crisp gunshot suddenly rang out.
This gunshot was distinctly different from the AK47 of the old assassin and the gunshots of the young male and female assassins.
A smile tugged at Xu Xiangbei’s lips—Ah Rong had arrived.
Often seen cleaning her Browning pistol, Ah Rong’s marksmanship was unknown. But after her single shot, the assassin’s gunfire halved, surely hitting some of them.
One shot, one kill—it seemed Ah Rong’s marksmanship was indeed remarkable.
Upon hearing that gunfire broke out in the entertainment hall, Ah Rong knew the gunmen were definitely after Xu Xiangbei and hurried over.
She landed a shot squarely on one of the old assassins, the bullet hitting him right between the eyes, causing him to fall slowly, unwillingly.
With reinforcements arriving, the assassins did not panic, having long been prepared.
The three exchanged a glance, conveying their tacit understanding. The young male and female assassins targeted the doorway to block Ah Rong’s rescue.
Meanwhile, another old assassin viciously wielding the AK47 approached, shooting towards the table where Xu Xiangbei was hiding, intending to change angle and bypass the table.
The young male and female’s precise shots hit the iron door frame, sparking dazzlingly.
Ah Rong, pinned by their firepower, could not pop her head out and fumbled a black item from her pocket.
Iron Head and the security guards watched from outside. Seeing Ah Rong effortlessly take down a killer with one shot, Iron Head felt a silent admiration.
But upon seeing her pull out the black item, Iron Head was frightened into covering his mouth, preventing himself from crying out—it was a hand grenade.
Clutching the grenade tightly, Ah Rong did not throw it. The dim lights of the entertainment hall made it hard to see Xu Xiangbei’s location, worrying that tossing the grenade might accidentally hurt him.
Her lethal shot had already given Xu Xiangbei the utmost assistance.
With the gunfire significantly reduced, Xu Xiangbei freed himself from Seven-girl’s embrace, warning her to be careful and stay still, hiding behind the table as he grasped four iron balls, ready for action.
Seven-girl snapped back from the passionate kiss, reluctantly releasing her hold on Xu Xiangbei’s body, her face still flushed with an unyielding blush.
As the bullets ran out, the old assassin hurriedly changed magazines, being too eager to kill Xu Xiangbei, forgetting he had fallen within reach of the flying Iron Gall.
Xu Xiangbei suddenly jumped off the shattered table, hurling the four iron balls forcefully.
In a flash of cold light, two iron balls struck the old assassin’s brow, two hit his wrist, not just knocking away his homemade AK47 but also dazing him, turning his eyes white as he fainted to the ground.
Finally breaking free from the suppression of gunfire, Xu Xiangbei darted forward like an arrow released from its string, reaching the young male and female assassins in an instant.
The young male and female assassins did not expect Xu Xiangbei to be so valiant, frightened into raising their guns to shoot at him. Xu Xiangbei’s wrist flicked, sending iron balls tracing graceful arcs in mid-air to knock down the duo.
A bullet meanwhile pierced Xu Xiangbei’s shoulder, causing him to grunt in pain, half-kneeling on the ground.
Upon hearing the silence in the entertainment hall, Ah Rong rushed in with her gun raised, spotting the injured Xu Xiangbei.
"Xu Xiangbei, you’ve been shot! Is it serious?"
"It’s nothing. The bullet just went through my shoulder, likely only a graze."
Suddenly, Seven-girl screamed, "Watch out, there’s a bomb!"
Xu Xiangbei and Ah Rong sprinted towards the exit.
Boom, a violent explosion sounded, sending a powerful blast sweeping in all directions, an eye-catching flame shooting toward the ceiling, triggering the fire alarm system.
Xu Xiangbei and Ah Rong reached the doorway just in time, the powerful shockwave from behind lifting them up before they landed back heavily on the ground.
As the fire alarm system activated from the ceiling, the entire entertainment hall appeared shrouded like it was raining, quelling the raging flames.
An hour earlier, the opulently decorated, shimmering entertainment hall had turned into ruins.
The explosion source was from the leisure bags brought by the two white-haired old assassins, containing not only AK47s but explosives, intending to go down in flames with everything.
Fortunately, Seven-girl called out in time, allowing Xu Xiangbei and Ah Rong to escape the hall without being harmed by shrapnel or the shockwave. The assassins closest to the explosion center were not so lucky, all disfigured by the blast.
After the explosion, with his mind on Seven-girl’s safety, Xu Xiangbei rushed into the entertainment hall, but to his surprise, besides the assassins’ gory corpses, there was no sign of an injured Seven-girl.
Xu Xiangbei scanned the entertainment hall. The table he and Seven-girl had hidden under was blown into pieces, uncertain if Seven-girl was hurt.
Suddenly, Xu Xiangbei noticed beneath the table debris, someone had drawn a heart with red lipstick. Lifting the broken tabletop, a number seven sat beside the heart symbol.
Amused by the heart symbol and number seven beneath the table, Xu Xiangbei couldn’t help but smile.
The scene of the stolen Nine Cats image had left the same mark; it was Seven-girl’s unique symbol, showing she had the presence of mind to leave a mark, meaning she was fine.
Outside the Crown KTV, piercing police sirens blared as armed officers surrounded the KTV.
Leading them was Jenny, dressed in a deep blue police uniform with a bulletproof vest over it, looking formidable and gallant.
